Job Description

The Platen Grinder is responsible for operating and maintaining grinding machinery to shape and smooth metal surfaces. The successful candidate will work in the manufacturing industry, primarily in the metal fabrication sector, and must be adept at following precise specifications and maintaining quality control.

Responsibilities

• Setup grinding tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve grinding-related issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.

Advantageous

• Experience with CNC grinding machines: Hands-on experience with CNC technology to enhance precision and efficiency.
