Job Description

We are searching for a skilled Petroleum Production Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production of petroleum resources, ensuring efficient extraction and maximising output.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive production plans that align with strategic goals.
  • Utilise advanced simulation software to predict reservoir behaviour and optimise production rates.
  • Lead on-site teams in drilling operations and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.
  • Prepare detailed reports on production output, operational costs, and environmental impact.
  • Facilitate training sessions for junior engineers and technicians on safe operating procedures and best practices.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Manage relationships with external contractors for drilling and production operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in petroleum production engineering or a related role.
