Job Description

As an Ultrasound Specialist at Healthcare Providers Ltd., you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality ultrasound services. You will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining imaging equipment. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care and accurate imaging results.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations including obstetric and abdominal studies.
  • Ensure all imaging equipment is maintained and serviced on a regular schedule.
  • Provide direct patient care, including the assessment of patient needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient examinations and results.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance patient comfort and service delivery.
  • Participate in clinical audit and research projects as required.

Requirements

Education
  • Higher National Diploma in Diagnostic Imaging or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualification in ultrasound is preferable
Experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience as a Sonographer

Languages
  • English: Fluent
