Job Description

Join our team as an Ordnance Artificer, where you will maintain, repair, and test weapons and ammunition. You will need to demonstrate strong attention to detail and adhere to safety protocols while collaborating with other professionals in the field.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out regular inspections of weapons to ensure functionality.
• Servicing ordnance systems and managing repair workflows.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the workshop.
• Assisting in the training of new staff members.
• Preparing reports on maintenance and safety compliance.
• Ensuring availability of necessary tools and equipment.
• Collaborating with suppliers for spare parts procurement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Advanced qualifications in explosives safety are preferred.

Experience

• 5 years of direct experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of explosive safety regulations
• Experience with team leadership

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Explosives Safety Management Certification
• First Aid and CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of modern weapon systems: Familiarity with the latest technology in weaponry and ordnance.
• Experience with remote diagnostics systems: Experience using technology for remote maintenance and diagnostics.
