Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Garbage Truck Dispatcher to manage our fleet's daily operations effectively. The successful candidate will ensure timely collection and efficient waste disposal while maintaining communication with drivers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations for over 50 garbage trucks across various routes.
• Ensure timely and effective communication with drivers regarding routes and schedules.
• Process customer service requests and maintain documentation.
• Monitor the performance and compliance of the garbage truck fleet.
• Adjust routes dynamically in response to changes in customer demand or traffic conditions.
• Generate reports on waste collection data and performance metrics.
• Facilitate training for new dispatch staff and assist in ongoing staff development.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Respond quickly to emergencies or unexpected events affecting service delivery.
• Foster a positive team environment with open communication and mutual support.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant certification or vocational training in transportation or logistics.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in dispatching or coordinating vehicle fleets, preferably in waste management or transportation.
