We are on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Application Engineer to join our vibrant team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mobile applications using both Android and iOS platforms. You'll collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions focused on user experience and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Build quality mobile applications that meet user needs and expectations.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new app ideas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Monitor app performance post-launch and implement improvements.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Maintain high standards of code quality and unit testing.
• Document application features and maintain technical specifications.
• Leverage analytics data to make informed product decisions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience in mobile app development including both Android and iOS

Technical Skills

• Flutter
• Kotlin

Soft Skills

• Creative Problem Solving

Certifications

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with automated testing frameworks: Background in using frameworks like Appium or Espresso for testing mobile applications.
