Job Description

As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, you will play a vital role in administering EEG tests and analysing neurological data in a fast-paced clinical environment. Your expertise will contribute to improving diagnoses for patients experiencing neurological issues.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct EEG tests, ensuring patient comfort and safety are prioritised.
  • Monitor and analyse EEG data, preparing comprehensive reports.
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals to facilitate swift patient care.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Participate in research initiatives focused on EEG technology advancements.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and update protocols accordingly.
  • Assist in training new staff and promoting a collaborative environment.
  • Implement quality assurance measures to enhance testing accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate records of all procedures for compliance.
  • Support the emotional wellbeing of patients throughout testing.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Neuroscience or related field is advantageous
  • Certification as an EEG Technologist from a recognised body
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in EEG testing preferred
