We are on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Environmental Scientist to join our team in Manchester. In this role, you will assess, research, and analyse environmental data to contribute to impactful projects focused on sustainability and conservation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong scientific background, with practical experience in environmental monitoring and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement monitoring programmes to assess environmental quality.
• Conduct risk assessments related to ecological impacts.
• Prepare project proposals and funding applications.
• Mentor junior staff and interns in environmental science methodologies.
• Lead workshops and training sessions on environmental best practices.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with environmental standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Ecology or a related discipline is beneficial

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in environmental assessment
