Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Sustainability Development Manager to lead our environmental initiatives in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will develop and implement sustainability strategies, engage with stakeholders, and drive projects that enhance our commitment to environmental conservation.

Responsibilities

  • Create innovative sustainability programs that align with environmental goals.
  • Coordinate with external agencies for sustainability certifications.
  • Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently across projects.
  • Advocate for sustainable development within the organisation.
  • Present sustainability reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior staff on sustainability practices and career development.
  • Utilise data to track, analyse, and improve sustainability efforts.
  • Promote a culture of sustainability within the workplace.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure sustainable sourcing.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Advanced degree is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sustainability
