Job Description

As a Pipeline Inspector, you will be tasked with ensuring the quality and safety of pipelines within designated regions. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough inspections, identifying defects, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate should be meticulous and possess substantial knowledge of pipeline inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee pipeline inspection processes and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Utilize advanced inspection tools and software to conduct assessments.
  • Train junior inspectors on best practices and safety protocols.
  • Engage with stakeholders to communicate inspection findings and necessary follow-ups.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of inspection techniques and protocols for continual improvement.
  • Document all inspections, highlighting non-compliance issues and corrective actions.
  • Ensure traceability of inspection records for audit purposes.
  • Foster a culture of safety within the inspection team.
  • Analyse data from inspections to propose improvements in pipeline integrity management.
  • Participate in emergency response drills and safety training sessions.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant certifications related to pipeline inspection
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in pipeline inspection or related field.
