Job Description

As an Electrical and Electronics Repairer, you will handle the maintenance, repair, and installation of various gear systems within our industrial machinery. Your expertise will ensure that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular inspections of gear systems and components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical faults within machines.
• Compile detailed reports of maintenance work and findings.
• Assist in the training of junior technicians on gear maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Suggest improvements on gear designs to enhance efficiency.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
• Support project managers in implementing new gear systems.

Requirements

Education

• Technician apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience

• Prior experience working with gears and gearboxes in an industrial setting.

Technical Skills

• Pneumatic systems knowledge

• Analytical skills
• Communication

Certifications

• Forklift Operator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with computer-aided design: Use of CAD tools for modification and design of gear systems.
• Knowledge of automation systems: Understanding of automated systems in the industrial setting.
