Job Description

An Adjuster is responsible for evaluating and processing insurance claims. The role entails ensuring fair settlements for policyholders by investigating claims thoroughly and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

  • Assess insurance claims for damages and loss.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
  • Review, investigate and analyse documentation related to claims.
  • Collaborate with other departments for comprehensive claims management.
  • Prepare reports and presentations regarding claim statuses and trends.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
  • Assist in training new team members on claims handling processes.
  • Support the improvement of customer service processes.
  • Stay informed about changes in insurance policy laws and regulations.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with policyholders for improved service experience.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
Experience
  • At least 2 years in insurance or financial services, preferably in claims.
