Job Description
An Adjuster is responsible for evaluating and processing insurance claims. The role entails ensuring fair settlements for policyholders by investigating claims thoroughly and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities
Assess insurance claims for damages and loss.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
Review, investigate and analyse documentation related to claims.
Collaborate with other departments for comprehensive claims management.
Prepare reports and presentations regarding claim statuses and trends.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
Assist in training new team members on claims handling processes.
Support the improvement of customer service processes.
Stay informed about changes in insurance policy laws and regulations.
Cultivate strong relationships with policyholders for improved service experience.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
Experience
At least 2 years in insurance or financial services, preferably in claims.
