We are in search of an experienced Insurance Underwriter to join our team in Southampton. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, with the ability to assess risks and make informed decisions regarding insurance policies. This role involves evaluating applications, determining policy terms, and collaborating with clients to provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client information and develop appropriate insurance packages.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines while underlining policies.
• Engage with brokers and agents to enhance client relationships.
• Conduct training and workshops for staff members on underwriting policies.
• Continuously update knowledge on industry trends and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, or a related field
• Fellowship of the Institute of Actuaries is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry with a focus on underwriting
