Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Coventry. The ideal candidate will handle financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and support the finance department in daily operations. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of our accounts and contribute to strategic financial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy of financial information through regular checks and reconciliations.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing necessary insights for management.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Provide support with financial software implementation and training for team members.
• Prepare management reports for review by the Finance Manager.
• Monitor financial performance and discuss with management to identify any discrepancies.
• Train and mentor junior bookkeeping staff.
• Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and accounting standards.

Requirements

Education

• AAT Level 4 or equivalent certification
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is an asset

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
