Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Consultant to join our team in Plymouth. As a Tax Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to provide expert tax advice and support to our diverse clientele, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial situations and develop strategies that optimise their tax positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of compliance documentation and tax disclosures.
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff on tax-related issues.
• Research and analyze tax legislation, case law, and financial regulations.
• Identify opportunities for clients to optimise their tax efficiencies.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss financial plans and tax obligations.
• Work collaboratively with accounting and advisory teams to ensure comprehensive service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., ACCA, ACA) is desirable

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in tax consultancy or related field
