Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Insurance Underwriter to evaluate insurance applications and determine coverage terms and premiums. You will work closely with clients and agents to assess risks and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments on applications for various insurance products.
• Provide recommendations for policy terms and conditions based on risk evaluations.
• Communicate underwriting decisions efficiently to agents and clients.
• Engage in ongoing training to keep abreast of industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement underwriting processes to improve efficiency.
• Prepare reports on underwriting activities for management review.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Professional qualifications in underwriting are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in insurance underwriting or a related field
