Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Insurance Underwriter to evaluate insurance applications and determine coverage terms and premiums. You will work closely with clients and agents to assess risks and make informed decisions.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough risk assessments on applications for various insurance products.
Provide recommendations for policy terms and conditions based on risk evaluations.
Communicate underwriting decisions efficiently to agents and clients.
Engage in ongoing training to keep abreast of industry standards and regulations.
Develop and implement underwriting processes to improve efficiency.
Prepare reports on underwriting activities for management review.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Professional qualifications in underwriting are advantageous
Experience
3+ years of experience in insurance underwriting or a related field
