Job Description

As a Cook in our institution, you will play a key role in planning and executing meals, creating new recipes, and overseeing kitchen operations. If you have a passion for cooking and teamwork, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure high standards.
  • Prepare a variety of culinary dishes, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Work closely with suppliers to source fresh ingredients.
  • Monitor food wastage and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Assist in menu planning and recipe modifications.
  • Implement and maintain kitchen hygiene standards.
  • Conduct staff training sessions on cooking techniques and health standards.
  • Evaluate customer feedback and adjust menu items accordingly.
  • Support special events and catering needs.
  • Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques.

Requirements

Education
  • City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Culinary Arts
  • Knowledge of allergen management
Experience
  • Experience in a large-scale kitchen environment is preferred.
