Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Rod Mill Tender to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining rod mills, ensuring that products meet high-quality standards. Attention to detail and technical expertise in rod mill operations are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the operation of rod mill equipment and make necessary adjustments.
• Conduct quality checks on produced rods and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Maintain and update logs of production and equipment maintenance.
• Assist in training new operators on the proper use of rod mills.
• Participate in safety audits and workshops to enhance safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training in manufacturing or a related field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating rod mills or equivalent machinery.

Technical Skills

• Hydraulic systems knowledge
• Basic computer literacy

• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations: Familiarity with health and safety standards in the metals and manufacturing industry.
