Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ensuring network security and protecting sensitive information. You will be responsible for implementing security measures and responding to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enforce security policies across all departments.
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Conduct penetration tests and vulnerability scans.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
• Advise on security upgrades and procurements.
• Perform risk analysis to inform security investments.
• Document and report on security incidents and breaches.
• Support the implementation of data protection regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or IT-related field
• Relevant certifications such as CISM or CompTIA Security+ are advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity

• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Malware Analysis
