Job Description

As a Railcar Brake Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of rail transportation. You will operate and maintain the braking systems of railcars, conduct inspections, and report any issues to the Operations Manager. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all safety checks are completed before operation.
  • Respond to emergencies and troubleshoot braking issues as they arise.
  • Facilitate communication between team members during shifts.
  • Identify areas for process improvements within braking operations.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in Mechanical Engineering or Rail Operations is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in rail operations and braking systems
