As a Veterinary Technician at our Basildon practice, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch care to our furry patients. The ideal candidate will be skilled in assisting veterinarians, performing diagnostic tests, and ensuring that all animals receive the best care possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance during surgeries and emergency procedures.
• Perform dental cleanings and preventative care.
• Help in patient restraint and handling.
• Conduct routine laboratory tests such as blood work and urinalysis.
• Maintain and operate veterinary equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.
• Assist in the educational outreach to pet owners.
• Monitor anaesthesia during surgical procedures.
• Provide comfort and care to animals post-surgery.
• Participate actively in team meetings and case discussions.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Veterinary Sciences
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience

• 2+ years in a veterinary clinic environment
