We are seeking a passionate Animal Care Supervisor to lead our team in Basildon. You will oversee the daily operations of animal care, ensuring the wellbeing of the animals in our facility. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and a commitment to animal welfare.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations to maintain the highest level of animal care.
• Train and support staff in animal handling and welfare practices.
• Collaborate with veterinarians to ensure proper medical care.
• Develop protocols for the care of different species.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities.
• Create and manage schedules for care staff.
• Engage in outreach activities to promote animal welfare.
• Assist in the management of budgets and resources.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field
• Relevant certifications in animal care are an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in animal care or welfare
