Loading and Moving Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Loading and Moving Machine Operators to join our team in underground mining operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy machinery, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Utilize heavy machinery for the loading and moving of materials within the underground site.
• Conduct daily safety checks and report issues to management.
• Work alongside other team members to optimize logistics.
• Provide assistance with routine preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Ensure all work is carried out in adherence with environmental policies.
• Assist the Site Manager in the implementation of safety programs.
• Maintain communication with ground control personnel as needed.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• At least 3 years of driving experience in a similar role with heavy machinery.

Technical Skills

• Forklift Operation

Certifications

• CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Loaders and Dumpers: Hands-on experience operating loaders and dump trucks effectively.
• Communication Skills in Other Languages: Ability to communicate in languages other than English is a plus.
