Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roads and Parking Lots Sweeper-Operator to ensure the cleanliness and functionality of roads and parking lots. The ideal candidate will operate sweepers and related equipment, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate sweeping vehicles on designated routes.
• Safeguard pedestrian and vehicle safety during operations.
• Conduct pre-start checks on equipment and ensure it is safe to operate.
• Assist in training new staff on equipment operation and safety protocols.
• Track and report operational hours and maintenance needs of equipment.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a road maintenance or facilities management role.

Technical Skills

• Heavy Equipment Operation
• Waste Disposal Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Physical Stamina

Certifications

• Valid Driver's License
• Health and Safety Certification is preferable

Languages

• English: Fluent
