Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to join our Oxford team. In this role, you will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding a multidisciplinary team of construction professionals and subcontractors, maintaining effective communication, and ensuring compliance with all regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project budgets and forecasts.
  • Manage risk assessments and contingency plans.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Track and report project milestones and deliverables.
  • Mentor and train junior team members.
  • Assist in contract negotiations and bidding processes.
  • Participate in site meetings to discuss project updates.
  • Promote sustainability practices within projects.
  • Utilise software tools for project management and reporting.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
  • Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing construction projects
Technical Skills
  • Construction Software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera)
  • Scheduling

Certifications
  • RICS accredited
  • PMP certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent
