Job Description

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be instrumental in supporting educational activities and assisting students with their learning journeys. The role requires a patient and enthusiastic individual who is able to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with teachers to implement lesson plans.
  • Provide one-on-one assistance to students who require additional support.
  • Encourage and motivate students to achieve their best.
  • Help organize classroom activities and events.
  • Supervise students during playtime and transitions.
  • Assist in assessing students' learning and providing feedback.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to improve teaching strategies and student outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications required
  • A Levels or NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning is desirable
Experience
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred

Advantageous

  • Experience in special educational needs (SEN): Knowledge and experience in supporting students with additional learning needs.
