Job Description

As an Oxidizer, you will oversee the safe and efficient operation of oxidizing agents in industrial environments. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and optimizing processes for better emissions control.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement protocols for the effective use of oxidizers.
  • Engage with stakeholders to assess the impact of oxidizer usage on air quality.
  • Participate in risk assessments for new processes involving oxidizing agents.
  • Conduct audits of oxidizer usage to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate oxidizer systems into new projects.
  • Assist in the selection of oxidizer technologies and suppliers.
  • Lead safety drills and training sessions for employees.
  • Research and apply new oxidizer handling techniques and technologies.
  • Advocate for practices that reduce the environmental impact of oxidizer usage.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Science
  • Certifications in hazardous materials handling (desirable)
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
