Welding Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Welding Technician with a solid foundation in various welding techniques. The candidate should be capable of executing a variety of welding processes to meet rigorous industry standards, while ensuring quality and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct welding operations using various techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Select and set up welding equipment, ensuring proper settings and adjustments.
• Perform weld inspections and quality control checks.
• Identify and troubleshoot welding defects, making necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Maintain welding equipment, ensuring its proper functioning.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain documentation of welding operations.
• Adhere to production schedules and deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant qualifications in Welding or Fabrication preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Robotic Welding
• Stainless Steel Welding

Certifications

• AWS Certified Welder

Languages

• English: Fluent
