Procurement Inspector

Job Description

We are searching for a highly driven Procurement Inspector who will play a crucial role in overseeing compliance within our procurement activities. You will evaluate supplier performance, conduct inspections, and ensure that all quality control measures are adhered to.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding compliance issues.
• Document inspection and evaluation results accurately.
• Develop and maintain metrics for success in supplier performance.
• Support negotiations to improve supplier agreements based on performance data.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process optimizations.
• Assist in managing supplier risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Provide advice on procurement regulations and best practices.
• Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the procurement department.

Requirements

Education

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred
• Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) certification preferred

Experience

• Demonstrated experience in supplier evaluation and inspection processes
