Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Claims Manager to lead our claims department in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will oversee claims processes, ensuring adherence to regulations while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of claims adjusters and support staff.
  • Ensure all claims files are properly documented and processed.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to address concerns and feedback.
  • Coordinate with legal teams where needed for complex claims.
  • Monitor claims performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Assist in developing annual budgets for the claims department.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service agreements.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or related field
  • Master's degree in Insurance or Business is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years in claims handling or management roles
