Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Claims Manager to lead our claims department in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will oversee claims processes, ensuring adherence to regulations while providing exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of claims adjusters and support staff.
Ensure all claims files are properly documented and processed.
Facilitate regular team meetings to address concerns and feedback.
Coordinate with legal teams where needed for complex claims.
Monitor claims performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
Assist in developing annual budgets for the claims department.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service agreements.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or related field
Master's degree in Insurance or Business is an advantage
Experience
5+ years in claims handling or management roles
