Responsibilities
Examine animals to diagnose and treat health problems.
Perform surgeries and follow up on post-operative recovery.
Administer anaesthetics and monitor animals during surgical procedures.
Provide guidance and support to veterinary nurses and support staff.
Engage with pet owners to discuss treatment options and aftercare.
Conduct routine health checks and preventative medicine.
Stay informed on current veterinary legislation and practices.
Participate in community outreach and educational programs.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
Postgraduate qualification in veterinary medicine is advantageous
Experience
Minimum 2 years' clinical experience in veterinary practice
