Job Description
The Open Hearth Stockyard Supervisor will oversee the stockyard operations, ensuring safe and efficient handling of materials. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience from the steel industry and a strong managerial background.
Responsibilities
Lead safety meetings to promote a culture of safety within the stockyard.
Prepare operational reports for management, identifying areas for improvement.
Work closely with logistics teams to optimize material flow.
Respond to emergencies and ensure swift resolution of operational issues.
Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and efficiency.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Master's degree preferred
Experience
Experience in a stockyard or materials handling environment preferred.
