Job Description

We are seeking a talented Sound Engineering Technician to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sound engineering principles and hands-on experience with audio editing software such as Pro Tools or Adobe Audition. This role involves collaborating with the production team to deliver high-quality sound for various projects.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the production team to define audio requirements for various projects.
  • Edit and enhance audio recordings to ensure top-notch quality.
  • Implement sound design elements to create desired auditory effects.
  • Utilise industry-standard software tools for audio manipulation.
  • Assemble a curated library of sound effects for future use.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on audio output.
  • Keep up to date with audio technology trends and innovations.
  • Foster a positive and creative workspace within the team.
  • Assist in the training and onboarding of new sound production staff.
  • Maintain and organise audio project files and documentation.
