Job Description

Exciting opportunity for an Urban Planner in Bristol! We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in urban design and community planning. You will collaborate with diverse teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance the urban landscape and promote sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of urban projects from inception to completion.
  • Assess environmental and social impacts of planning proposals.
  • Develop detailed land use plans and urban design strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Review and respond to public inquiries regarding planning applications.
  • Utilise GIS and other technologies for effective planning solutions.
  • Prepare and present agendas for planning committee meetings.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or related field
  • Master's degree is highly desirable
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in urban planning or a similar role
