Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Metal-Refining Furnace Operator to join our dedicated team in Birmingham. You will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining furnace equipment to ensure high-quality metal production. The ideal candidate will have experience in a metal refining or processing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the refining furnace.
• Monitor the raw material input and adjust as necessary.
• Conduct quality assurance tests to ensure metals meet industry standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
• Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to at all times.

Requirements

Education

• Level 2 Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
• Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Engineering is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in metal refining operations
