Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Prepress Technician to join our team, responsible for operating typecasting machines and ensuring quality control throughout the print process. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and experience in a similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Run typecasting machines, ensuring setup and adjustments are made for different jobs.
• Regularly inspect print quality and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Maintain equipment and report any mechanical issues to the management.
• Assist in training new staff on operation procedures and safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Training in printing processes is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience operating typecasting or similar machinery.

Technical Skills

• Preventative Maintenance
• Technical Drawing Interpretation

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Advantageous

• Knowledge of colour management systems: Understanding of how to manage colours effectively in print production.
