Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Contact Lens Flashing Puncher to join our team. The role involves operating specialized machinery to create precise punctures in contact lenses for enhanced vision clarity. The ideal candidate will possess a keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and adjust machinery for lens production to meet specifications.
  • Regularly inspect lenses for quality assurance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Document all operational activities to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in training new employees on machinery and safety practices.
  • Experiment with new techniques to improve overall manufacturing efficiency.
  • Serve as a point of contact for machine troubleshooting and repair.
  • Work closely with quality control teams to address any production discrepancies.
  • Help implement best practices for waste reduction and process efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Keep up to date with industry developments in optical manufacturing.

Requirements

Education
  • No specific qualifications required; however, experience in optical manufacturing is a plus.
Experience
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is desirable.
Technical Skills
  • Experience with contact lens equipment and machinery
