Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Auditor to join our team in Plymouth. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and have experience in tax compliance and auditing. You will be responsible for reviewing financial records and ensuring compliance with UK tax laws.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide detailed analysis and recommendations based on audit outcomes.
• Establish relationships with clients to ensure smooth communication during audits.
• Prepare audit schedules and timelines to manage workload effectively.
• Monitor compliance with tax regulations and internal policies.
• Assist in the development of tax strategies to support business objectives.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
• Act as a liaison between clients and tax authorities during audits.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax auditing or compliance
