We are looking for an IT Support Technician to provide hands-on support to our users in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring smooth IT operations within our organisation. Responsibilities

  • Assist users with troubleshooting IT-related issues and provide solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
  • Help manage data backups and recovery processes.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for hardware and software support.
  • Document IT support requests and resolutions accurately.
  • Keep abreast of the latest technologies and best practices in IT support.
  • Contribute to team meetings to improve IT services and processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Additional IT certifications are beneficial
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in a technical support role
