Job Description

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of our infrastructure and deployment processes, enabling our development teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently. You'll collaborate closely with software engineers, system architects, and IT operations to enhance DevOps practices, automate workflows, and ensure the seamless integration of development and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement multi-environment deployment strategies.
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Monitor system health and performance metrics, responding to alerts and issues.
  • Participate in on-call duty for system incidents and outages.
  • Train team members on DevOps methodologies and best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in a DevOps role
