Job Description

As a Software Engineer Manager, you will lead the charge in delivering high-quality software products. Your ability to harmonize technical proficiency with managerial skills will be crucial as you guide your team through the software development lifecycle while fostering a supportive and innovative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the software development lifecycle from concept to completion.
  • Implement strategies for team enhancement and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align engineering contributions with business goals.
  • Ensure all team members are equipped with the necessary resources and tools.
  • Prepare and present project status updates to senior management.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and creative problem solving within the team.
  • Maintain documentation for software design, processes, and procedures.
  • Participate in interviewing and hiring new software engineers.
  • Support team members in their professional development through coaching and feedback.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in software development and 3+ years in a leadership position
