Job Description

We are seeking skilled Metal-Refining Furnace Operators and Tenders to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of refining furnaces used in metal processing, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the loading and unloading of materials into and out of the furnace.
• Maintain logs of furnace operations for management review.
• Assist in training new operators on safety practices and furnace operation.
• Participate in safety drills and maintain a focus on workplace safety.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical diploma in a related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry

• Metal Processing Knowledge

Certifications

• Health and Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
