Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure efficient production and high-quality output.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machines for production by setting up and calibrating equipment.
• Safely operate machines while adhering to all safety guidelines.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure machine functionality and efficiency.
• Inspect products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Document production activities and report discrepancies to supervisors.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule regular machine upkeep.
• Train and mentor junior operators on machine operation and safety practices.
• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
• Maintain an orderly work environment that meets safety and cleanliness standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in machine operation or a similar role is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Mechanical aptitude

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a manufacturing environment: Preferably in roles involving complex machinery or production lines.
• Knowledge of specific machinery used in the industry: Familiarity with machinery such as extruders, presses, and compactors.
• Technical certifications or relevant training: Certification in machine operation or safety training.
