Job Description

As a Plating Machine Setter, you will be responsible for applying a coating to welding rods, enhancing their performance and protecting them from corrosion. This role requires keen attention to detail and a steady hand, ensuring high-quality production standards.

Responsibilities

• Skillfully apply various coatings to welding rods using advanced machinery.
• Conduct regular inspections of the coating process for quality assurance.
• Follow up on quality control feedback to adjust processes accordingly.
• Log maintenance schedules and ensure equipment is in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with team regarding production flow.
• Take proactive measures to ensure compliance with safety legislation.
• Contribute to team efforts in achieving efficiency targets.
• Assist in inventory management for materials needed for coating.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in manufacturing processes preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a plating or coatings role preferred

Technical Skills

• Experience with coating equipment
• Knowledge of safety protocols
