Job Description

As a Civil Engineer at our Bristol office, you will play a key role in the development and execution of engineering projects. You will collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery while adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead civil engineering projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and industry standards.
  • Evaluate existing designs and propose modifications to enhance performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with environmental consultants to address project impacts.
  • Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals for new projects.
  • Utilize software tools for design and analytical tasks, such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for identified risks.
  • Present project designs and progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams and external partners.
  • Ensure all designs are compliant with local planning and zoning laws.
  • Implement innovative engineering solutions to improve project outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant civil engineering experience
