Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Dredging Inspector to monitor dredging operations, ensuring adherence to project specifications and environmental standards. Your expertise will play a vital role in fostering safety and compliance on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of dredging activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Document findings and prepare detailed reports for management and regulatory bodies.
• Work alongside project managers to develop and implement effective dredging practices.
• Engage in stakeholder consultations to ensure project transparency and community relations.
• Monitor dredging operations for environmental compliance, ensuring minimal impact on local ecosystems.
• Assist in training team members on safety protocols and inspection procedures.
• Review dredging plans and technical documents to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Manage relationships with external partners and agencies to facilitate project completion.
• Stay informed about advancements in dredging technology to improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions with the team.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Marine Engineering or a similar field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in dredging operations.

• NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety

Languages

• English: Fluent
