Job Description

As a Structural Engineer at Innovative Structures, you'll lead projects that innovate and enhance our urban landscape. Your expertise in structural design and analysis will be critical to delivering sustainable and safe buildings.

Responsibilities

  • Design innovative structures that meet client specifications and are environmentally friendly.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate construction materials for structural projects.
  • Provide detailed calculations to support design decisions and modifications.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate structural designs with architectural plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to structural elements.
  • Ensure all designs are compliant with current health and safety regulations.
  • Train and oversee field engineers during the construction phase.
  • Build relationships with clients to foster trust and repeat business.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering or similar
  • Doctorate preferred but not required
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in structural design and analysis.
Technical Skills
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
  • SAP2000
  • ETABS

Certifications
  • Chartered Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers (MIStructE)
  • Senior Engineer Certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent

  • Proficiency in leading large-scale projects: Experience managing complex structural projects from inception to completion.
