Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Control Panel Wireman to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for wiring and assembling control panels according to electrical drawings and specifications. Your attention to detail will ensure that all installations meet safety and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and implement electrical schematics effectively.
• Assemble and install control panels, ensuring compliance with electrical codes.
• Conduct final inspections and tests to ensure functionality.
• Keep detailed records of work performed for future reference.
• Implement continuous improvement in processes to enhance efficiency.
• Train junior staff on safe working practices and panel assembly techniques.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and uphold best practices.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve targets.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Assist in the development of project timelines and milestones.

Requirements

Education

• HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent may be considered.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in electrical panel assembly or similar.

Technical Skills

• CAD Software Proficiency
• Testing and Quality Assurance

• Communication Skills

Certifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation

Languages

• English: Fluent
