Cloud Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Cloud Engineer to strengthen our Liverpool office. In this role, you will implement cloud strategies, automate processes, and support cloud applications. Your expertise will help streamline operations and drive efficiency within our tech ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy scalable cloud solutions.
• Manage and monitor cloud services to enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and testing.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to understand their cloud needs.
• Implement monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance.
• Support and manage cloud-related incidents and issues.
• Perform cloud cost analysis and implement cost-reduction strategies.
• Advise and train non-technical staff on cloud capabilities and tools.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering

Technical Skills

• GCP
• CI/CD

Soft Skills

• Effective communication

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of networking concepts: Basics of VPCs, subnets, and load balancing.
• Experience in Agile methodologies: Strong advocate of Agile principles in project management.
