Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Power Hammer Operator to join our dedicated manufacturing team. The successful candidate will operate and maintain power hammers to shape, forge, or cut metal pieces according to precise specifications, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Set up power hammers as per production demands.
• Calibrating machines for different types of metalworking tasks.
• Performing quality checks on products during and after production.
• Documenting maintenance procedures and production outputs.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
• Working closely with the engineering team to improve machine performance.
• Assisting in inventory management of metal supplies.
• Participating in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required, but relevant certifications in metalworking or similar field will be advantageous.

Experience

• Prior experience operating power hammers or similar machinery.
